3 in custody after shooting in Capitol Hill

DENVER -- Three people were taken into custody after a shooting in the Capitol Hill neighborhood early Friday morning, the Denver Police Department said.

The shooting happened near East Colfax Avenue and Pearl Street.

It's not clear if anyone was injured.

There were shell casings on the street as police investigated.

The names, ages and gender of the three taken into custody were not released by police.

The investigation into what led to the shooting is ongoing.
