‘La La Land’ leads Critics’ Choice Awards with 12 nominations

LOS ANGELES — “La La Land” received 12 nominations, including best picture, Ryan Gosling for best actor and Emma Stone for best actress,” in the Critics’ Choice Awards that were announced Thursday morning.

“Arrival” and “Moonlight” each had 10 nominations, and both are in the running for best picture. “Manchester by the Sea” garnered eight nominations, followed by “Hacksaw Ridge” (seven), and “Doctor Strange,” “Fences,” “Hell or High Water,” “Jackie” and “Lion with six each.
