BOULDER, Colo. -- The University of Colorado stampeded its way to victory Saturday, beating the Utah Utes, 27-22, at Folsom Field.

The win secured the Pac-12 South Division title for the Buffaloes, their first since joining the conference. The ninth-ranked Buffaloes (10-2, 8-1 Pac-12) will play Washington for the conference title on Friday in Santa Clara, Calif. The game will air on FOX31.

If CU wins, it will have an outside chance to reach the four-team College Football Playoff. If not, it will play in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., on Jan. 2.

The Utes had the ball inside Colorado's 10-yard line four times in the second half and managed only three field goals.
