BOULDER, Colo. — The University of Colorado football team cracked the top 10 of the College Football Playoff poll that was announced Tuesday night.

The Buffaloes were ranked No. 10 in the poll. They are 8-2 and lead the Pac-12 South Division by one-half game with a 6-1 conference mark.

CU, which is ranked No. 12 in the Associated Press and coaches’ polls this week, plays No. 20 Washington State in Boulder at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The game will air on FOX31.

The Buffaloes control their own destiny to reach the conference championship game. After Saturday’s game, they play host to No. 11 Utah at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 26, also on FOX31. The game could likely decide the South Division winner.

If CU reaches the Pac-12 title game, it will be played at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 and also air on FOX31.
