2 dead in El Paso County shooting

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. -- A victim and a suspect were killed and another suspect is in custody after a shooting in El Paso County late Saturday night.

El Paso County sheriff's deputies responded to the area of Brant Road and Pathfinder Drive.

Deputies found a woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

An alert was issued for suspects Demetrius Moore and Daniel Moore, who were considered armed and dangerous.

The brother split up but were found, one on Chelton Road and another in the downtown area of North Union Boulevard and East Boulder Street.

Gunfire was exchanged with one of the suspects, killing him. One deputy suffered minor injuries, the sheriff's office said.

The other suspect was taken into custody.
