2 people, 2 dogs shot during home invasion in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. — Two people and two dogs were shot during a home invasion in Pueblo on Sunday night, KRDO reported.

The Pueblo Police Department said two men with masks went into the home on High Street about 8 p.m. and opened fire.

One victim was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, KRDO reported. The second victim’s injuries were described as minor. Both dogs are expected to survive.

Police are still working to get a description of the suspects and a vehicle.

Investigators haven’t said whether the attack was random or if they believe there was a specific motive.
