Truck smashes into gas station in southern Colorado

WALSENBURG, Colo. — A woman smashed through the Loaf-N-Jug store on Saturday morning, KRDO reported.

The crash happened at 200 Main St. about 9:30 a.m. Walsenburg is about 50 miles south of Pueblo.

KRDO reported a woman in her 70s hit the gas instead of the brake, running into a truck that was parked in front of the store. Her car pushed the truck into the store.

The woman driving the car was taken to Spanish Peaks Hospital and was later released.

There were no injuries reported.

A spokesman with the Walsenburg Police Department told KRDO that they do not believe the driver will be charged.
