WASHINGTON — Evenflo is recalling nearly 30,000 combination booster seats because they could pose an injury risk.

The recall involves certain Evolve 3-in-1 booster seat models.

The company said it’s possible for a child in the seat to access the harness adjustment button on their own.

If the child loosens the harness, they might not be properly secured if there’s a crash.

Evenflo said it will notify registered owners about the recall and give them a free kit to fix the issue.
