DENVER -- The Broncos got their second win of the season Sunday with a 34-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts, but it came at a cost.

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware suffered a broken bone in his right forearm and will undergo surgery on Tuesday, the Broncos said Monday. He will miss four to five weeks.

Ware went down in the third quarter, taking a knee in pain. He suffered the injury when he was going after Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

After the game, coach Gary Kubiak remained cautiously optimistic. Ware left the locker room in a sling and soft cast.

Under the Broncos' timetable, Ware could return Oct. 24 against the Houston Texans or Oct. 30 against the San Diego Chargers.
