AURORA, Colo. — Big changes are coming to Aurora as the city is moving ahead with plans to install new on-street bike lanes on Montview Boulevard.

The new lanes will go in between Havana Street and Oswego Street, near the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. The work is part of a pilot project to improve mobility in that area.

The city says the bike lanes will eliminate some parking, but Montview Boulevard will continue to have two lanes in both directions along that stretch.

City staff said they will listen to what residents think about the new lanes and review how the lanes impact traffic over the next year.
