NEDERLAND, Colo. — Crews responded to a report of an injured man at Barker Dam early Saturday morning, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said.

The 22-year-old fell off the dam around 2:25 am. He had reportedly been drinking and climbed over the safety fence surrounding the dam.

He fell  15 to 20 feet and landed on a concrete spillway, which was dry at the time.
