Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle crash near Franktown

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A motorcycle rider died in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 83 near Franktown on Monday afternoon, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The CSP said the cause of the crash was a rear-end collision. The motorcyclist, a 66-year-old, was killed.

A woman driving a 2009 Nissan Sedan suffered minor injuries. A 72-year-old man driving a 2007 Ford Explorer was not hurt.

The CSP didn’t release any other details about its investigation.
