Morrison, Colo — Australian rock band Tame Impala took to the stage on the last night of August supported by opener Mac DeMarco. Quickly they showered the crowd in confetti, funk and a psychedelic video show. Disco themed, laser doodle, etch-a-sketch images accompanied “The Less I know the Better” a spot on better than the record performance. “Eventually” floated to the top of Red Rocks midway through the performance the notes carried leftover confetti with them. The crowd packed full to the top of the amphitheater had their arms up in praise singing along to the “ah ah ah ah’s, Eventually”. The party and confetti never stopped right through the encore “New Person, Same Old Mistakes”. Here’s a look at the festivities from Wednesday’s performance.
