New technology helps blind sports card collector

DENVER -- As most sports card collectors say, finding the perfect card is sometimes a challenge and requires a little luck.

Photojournalist George Taylor and Sports Director Nick Griffith show one Colorado resident who relies on a little more than luck to get the perfect card.

A strong-knit card-collecting community, caring and patient parents and some new technology restructured and reused in a different way are helping Jake Cohen.

The teenager lost his eyesight four years ago. But he's able to keep with his impressive sports card collection anyway.

The machine that helps him is the I.D. Mate Galaxy and it's made by En-Vision America.
