BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Hundreds gathered Saturday night at Broomfield Commons to remember Breanna Boddy, a 21-year-old killed in a head-on crash earlier this week.

Boddy was studying to be a teacher in a nearby school district.

"It is just comforting to have the support of the community," said Feliz Cruz, an uncle.

The vigil, which was organized primarily by friends, included reflection from a pastor who told those gathered to keep having hope.

A formal memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at Romero Family funeral home.
