PARKER, Colo. -- Alcohol might have been a factor after a driver going the wrong way was killed in a multivehicle crash on Saturday, the Parker Police Department said.

Police said the crash on South Parker Road near J. Morgan Boulevard involved five vehicles and a motorcycle.

Seven people were transported to an area hospital by ambulance and one was airlifted, police said.

The crash was first reported by South Metro Fire Rescue about 6:45 p.m.
