I-70 reopens near Havana after 2 crashes cause backups

DENVER — Several lanes of both sides of Interstate¬†70 at Havana Street were blocked because of two separate crashes late Tuesday night, the Denver Police Department said.

An accident with a fuel leak closed three lanes of eastbound I-70, police said. A separate two-vehicle crash closed two lanes of westbound I-70.

Both accidents have been cleared, but there were long delays in the area as crews worked to clear the crashes.

No serious injuries were reported.
