COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Four Fort Carson soldiers have been arrested after an armed home invasion, KRDO reported.

Colorado Springs police responded to a disturbance involving four suspects, one of whom was armed with a gun, in the 1100 block of Verde Drive about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, the homeowners were inside and told police that four men had gone into the home demanding property. Police said the suspect with the gun threatened to shoot the family.

The suspects left after not taking anything from the house. The family of four, including two small children, were not injured, police said.

The soldiers turned themselves in at the Sand Creek police station a few hours later.

On Monday, the four were identified as Dustin Mincy, Mykal Hall, Aaron Hall and Roman Alred. They are being held on first-degree burglary, felony menacing and child abuse charges.
