DENVER — Colorado has some pretty great college towns. Three of those cities made a recent list of the 30 best college towns in America.

Lists like this come out every so often and this one comes from Niche, a company that researches and compiles information on cities.

The list looked at cities where college students make up at least 20 percent of the population. It used categories such as cost of living, public-school quality, the percentage of residents who hold at least a bachelor’s degree, among others.

The Colorado cities on the list include the obvious two, Boulder and Fort Collins, but also includes Golden coming in at No. 30.

The study gave Fort Collins and Golden a C-minus in cost of living, while Boulder got a D-minus. All three cities were given A’s in education, nightlife and weather, among others.
