LITTLETON, Colo. -- Police are continuing to search for a woman missing since June 29.
That was the last time anyone heard from 36-year-old Charlene Voight. Her family called to report her missing on July 8.
Police said several days later, they found her car abandoned in a gravel lot about a block from the apartment complex where she was living with her boyfriend, Jeff Beier.
Beier has since been arrested on what police say is an unrelated sexual assault case involving another person. Police say Beier has a domestic violence case in California involving Voight.
Investigators are not naming any suspects or persons of interest in Voight's disappearance.
At a news conference Tuesday afternoon, Littleton police said they had finished searching the lot where Voight's car was found and the apartment she shared with Beier, calling them "possible crime scenes."
Littleton police Cmdr. Trent Cooper said officials could not release any details about the investigation "due to the sensitive nature of the case."
Voight and Beier are originally from California. Several sources say Beier came to Colorado more than a year ago to work with a company that provides portable toilets and dumpsters for events.
