SILVERTHORNE, Colo. -- Dive crews searched a lake on Sunday after a paddle boarder was reported missing Sunday, the Silverthorne Police Department said.

A witness called 911 just before 5 p.m. to report the missing paddle boarder at North Pond.

Emergency crews including a dive rescue team responded to the south end of the lake to search for the person but have not located a body.

The witness who saw the paddle boarder fall into the water thought it was a woman, but it was from a distance so they aren't sure on the age or gender of the missing person, police said.

Police said they do not have any reports of any missing persons.
