One injured, possible victim being sought after Denver shooting

DENVER -- One person was injured and another possible victim fled the scene after a shooting on Wednesday night, the Denver Police Department said.

The shooting happened near West 14th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive.

Police said they found a man who was shot in the ankle. He was taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a second person and did not say if the person was a suspect or a victim.

There was no word on what led to the shooting.
