Police: Same suspect wanted for 3 Denver bank robberies

DENVER — Police issued a crime alert after a bank robbery in Denver on Monday. They believe the same suspect might have committed two other bank robberies during the past four weeks.

The suspect robbed the US Bank at 3400 W. 38th Ave. on Monday by use of a robbery/demand note according to investigators. He left the bank and was seen leaving the area eastbound on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as a white man who is 40 to 50 years old. He is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and weighs 140 to 160 pounds. He has a mustache and bears, and was seen wearing a dark baseball cap, a light-colored plaid shirt with dark stripes and tan shorts.

The same man is a suspect in the robbery of US Bank at 1248 S. Broadway on May 24 and Key Bank at 2776 Speer Blvd. on June 14.
