Broadway blockbuster ‘Hamilton’ coming to Denver in 2017

DENVER — The blockbuster Broadway hit “Hamilton” will be performed at the Buell Theatre during the 2017-18 Denver Center for the Performing Arts‘ Broadway subscription series, it was announced Friday.

“Hamilton” won 11 Tony awards, including best musical, score and book, on Sunday night.

Those who purchase a 2016-17 DCPA Broadway series subscription package and renew for the 2017-18 season will have guaranteed tickets, which are expected to be a hot commodity.

The show’s dates and ticket sales will be announced at a later date.

DCPA’s 2016-17 Broadway subscription package features the pre-Broadway debut of “Frozen,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Cabaret,” “An Act of God,” “Finding Neverland,” “Fun Home,” “An American in Paris” and “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.”
