AURORA, Colo. — A Denver firefighter has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure, the Aurora Police Department said.

Timothy Plybon, 35, was arrested June 6 after a man and his girlfriend said they saw Plybon masturbating inside of From Mexico Con Amor, a candy store located in the Town Center of Aurora, according to a police report.

Plybon told police he works in District 1 of the Denver Fire Department.

According to a police report, a witness said Plybon was walking “around the store and the whole time Plybon had his penis in his hand.” An employee of the store was helping two teenage girls when Plybon walked into the store, according to the police report.

“After walking around the store, Plybon walked out of the store. An older female that was out in the mall came into the store and asked … ‘Did you see that?'” according to the report.

An off-duty Aurora police officer tried to stop Plybon as he walked out of the mall. The report said Plybon ignored the officer’s command to stop and tried to drive away before a security vehicle that was patrolling the lot pulled in front of the vehicle.

Plybon was later released from the Aurora City Jail.
