Triple homicide investigation on Hudson St.

DENVER — A suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection with a triple homicide that happened Friday night in the 3600 block of Hudson Street, the Denver Police Department said.

Investigators said this weekend they believe the shooting was the result of a “drug deal gone wrong.” A police spokesman said Chad Evans, 32, was taken into custody at a residence in Tulsa, Okla.

“Tulsa PD played an integral role in the investigation and arrest, and the Denver Police Department is grateful for their assistance. Evans is being held for investigation of felony murder, attempted murder and robbery,” police said in a news release said.

Police arrived at the home on Hudson Street about 8:15 p.m. Friday and found two men dead. Another man was dropped off at a hospital where he died.
