LOVELAND, Colo. -- Investigators released new video Tuesday in a string of shootings in northern Colorado last year.

The video shows the night of June 3, 2015 where police say the person on a motorcycle was the victim of an attempted homicide.

The video shows the suspect inside an older model orange pick up truck following the motorcyclist near Denver Avenue and East 18th Street in Loveland.

The shooting happened moments later. The motorcyclists was not hurt. But about 12 minutes later, investigators said the shooter struck again just two miles away.

This time, William Cannole was shot and killed while he walked at the intersection of East First Street and North St. Louis Avenue. Anyone who might have been in the area of Denver Avenue and Highway 34 on that night is asked to contact police.

The two shootings in Loveland have been connected with two other shootings by the Northern Colorado Shooting task force: Milliken woman Cori Romero was shot on Interstate 25 on April 22, 2015 and Windsor cyclist John Jacoby was shot and killed on May 18, 2015.
