Family reported missing after camping trip is OK

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- A family on a camping trip that was reported missing Tuesday has been in contact with law enforcement and is OK, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.

It was reported to officials that the family was seen getting gas in Nederland.

Earlier, the  sheriff's office said the family was last seen Friday at a campsite above the Camp Dick Campground and was believed to be in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area in western Boulder County.

The family of five was expected back by friends and family who reported them missing.
