CANON CITY, Colo. — The Royal Gorge Route Railroad will resume service Wednesday after the death of a conductor over the weekend.

Leslie Cacy, 28, was killed Saturday after she fell off the back of the train and was run over. The train was backing up as it returned to the station after traveling into the Royal Gorge. Foul play is not suspected.

Train was suspended after Cacy’s death as the accident was investigated.

Cacy’s co-workers said she was well-liked by her colleagues. She got married last summer.

An autopsy will be conducted this week.
