Motorcyclist dies of injuries from Memorial Day collision

A motorcyclist was killed after a collision with a vehicle at East Evans Avenue and South St. Paul Street on Monday, May 30, 2016.

DENVER — A motorcyclist who was involved in a collision with a vehicle on Memorial Day has died, the Denver Police Department said Tuesday.

The collision happened Monday morning at East Evans Avenue and South St. Paul Street.

The victim, who has only been identified as a male, was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries but later died, police said.

The motorcyclist has not been identified, pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin by the Denver Coroner’s Office.

Police have not said what was the cause of the collision or if there were any other injuries.
