HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- Two boys who were reported missing Tuesday night were found safe, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.

Jeremy Liebe, 14, and Jameson Hall, 7, were put on an RTD bus in Cherry Creek by their grandmother to return to Highlands Ranch where they were to be picked up by their father.

The boys got off at the wrong bus stop and with no cellphones, there was no way to contact their parents.

Douglas County Search and Rescue and Arapahoe County Search and Rescue were dispatched to look for the boys.

The were found about 8:45 p.m. by police on the Littleton station RTD light rail platform. They were not injured and were reunited with their parents.
