STERLING, Colo. -- Police said two senior citizens -- a married couple -- who were headed to Seymour, Mo., from Sterling and were reported missing, were found safe Tuesday night.

Jerry Marshall, 77, and Patricia Marshall, 72, didn't take their cellphones or other belongings with them, and had not been heard from by family since leaving Saturday, police said.

The couple's daughter reported them missing. They were found on Tuesday night in Macon, Mo., about nine hours from Sterling. They were last seen Tuesday in Columbia, Mo.
