WESTMINSTER, Colo. -- There’s good news for the owner of a dog that escaped from her home in Westminster in March.

When Pepper's owner called the microchip company to find Pepper, she was told that the dog had been scanned at VRCC veterinary hospital in Englewood.

When the owner called the clinic, an employee said Pepper was no longer there, and that the woman who brought the dog in had left with Pepper.

She called the FOX31 Problem Solvers for help.

Pepper's owner says she got her dog back on Monday, but she's not saying anything else about the case until Westminster police finish their investigation.
