YULEE, Fla. -- A cellphone video captured a woman's eerie encounter inside a Florida Target store after she said a man made indecent comments about her body.

Candice Spivey recorded herself confronting the man suspected of being a voyeur and kept rolling as she chased him out the door. The video has gone viral with more than 2.3 million views.

Spivey said she had a similar encounter with the same man at a grocery store two years earlier.

"At first he is very believable. At first he comes up and seems like he genuinely needs your help in regards of answering questions about a dress he bought for his wife," Spivey said.

But she said he quickly turned the topic to questions about women's lingerie. Spivey said the man also asked her about her body.

"He said get away from me or stop, leave me alone or something," Spivey said. "And that's when I just wanted to say no, you need to leave everyone else alone."

Police said they could not charge the suspect, Jeffery Polizzi, with a crime based on the video. But when police asked women in the area to come forward with any similar stories, they got more than 50 complaints against Polizzi.

Polizzi also drove out of the Target parking lot so fast that he got arrested for reckless driving. He has since bonded out of jail.

According to court documents, Polizzi was previously convicted in 2009 of “taking photographs of women in dressing rooms.”
