Fugitive driver drags Aurora police officer during traffic stop

AURORA, Colo. -- Police released video of a traffic stop that suddenly turned violent and injured an officer.

The officer had asked for the driver's license and registration, but then the driver took off, dragging the officer about 60 feet.

It happened two weeks ago and the officer is recovering, but the driver is still on the loose.

The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Jason Moore. Police said he's a dangerous fugitive.

Anyone who recognizes Moore is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
