DENVER — Emergency crews rushed to help deliver a baby outside a Starbucks parking lot Thursday morning, Denver Health said.

Paramedics and firefighters with Denver Fire Department were dispatched to Sixth Avenue and Grant Street.

Officials said the delivery was as smooth as could be expected considering it was in a parking lot. An ambulance transferred the mother and baby to the hospital of the woman’s doctor.
