GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Two women stole an elderly woman’s wallet from a restaurant and went on a shopping spree, the Greenwood Village Police Department said.

The women walked into the Panera Bread restaurant at 5910 S. Holly St. and without ordering, they went to the table next to a woman eating lunch where they took her wallet from her purse, police said.

It took just 30 minutes for the two to rack up several thousands of dollars in purchases from various stores, including Target and Walgreens, police said.

Police released a surveillance photo of the women hoping someone can help identify them. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or Greenwood Village police.
