A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in southwest Denver on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

DENVER — A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday morning after a hit-and-run crash, the Denver Police Department said.

The crash happened about 5:30 a.m. at Federal Boulevard and Evans Avenue, police said.

Police said they are looking for a white pickup truck that left the area. Federal Boulevard was closed at Asbury Avenue as police investigated.

The name, age and gender of the victim was not released. Police did not say the extent of the injuries the victim suffered.
