‘Chumlee’ from ‘Pawn Stars’ jailed in Las Vegas on weapon, drug charges

LAS VEGAS — The man known to millions of TV viewers as Chumlee on the History Channel reality show “Pawn Stores” was arrested Wednesday on felony weapon and drug charges, police said.

Austin Russell was arrested after officers served a search warrant in a sexual assault investigation. Police said they found methamphetamine, marijuana and at least one gun in the southwest Las Vegas home.

Russell was not booked on a sex crime allegation, but the investigation continues, police told TMZ.

Russell was being held on 19 drug possession charges and one weapon charge. Bail was set at $62,000.

It wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer.
