One person seriously injured in Aurora stabbing

AURORA, Colo. -- One person was taken to a hospital after being stabbed Tuesday morning, the Aurora Police Department said.

Few details were released, but the victim was taken by ambulance with life-threatening injuries at Chambers Road and East Sixth Avenue.

Northbound Chambers was closed temporarily while first responders treated and transported the victim, who has not been identified.

At least one person was seen being handcuffed and placed into a patrol vehicle.

Police said the stabbing is related to an incident at a home in the 14900 block of East Walsh Drive. One person was seen in front of the residence sitting with his hands cuffed.

Police said no one has been arrested and they are not actively seeking a suspect.
