Man shot during Westminster home invasion

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A man was shot multiple times in a home invasion Saturday night, the Westminster Police Department said.

Police were dispatched to the 7000 block of Canosa Street where they found the victim. Officers were told two adult black men entered the home with weapons and in the ensuing struggle, shots were fired.

Police said a moderate-sized marijuana grow was located inside the residence. Officers are investigating if it is possibly associated with the shooting.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The two suspects are still at large.
