Does this video show a violation of child safety?

DENVER -- We stumbled across the video as a 'viral sensation' on social media. Tens of millions of views, hundreds of thousands of 'likes', comments, etc.

The video shows a toddler walking through a grocery store greeting everyone that walks by. We posted the video to our facebook page, yet the reaction was not positive.

Unlike the positivity surrounding the video on the 'Love What Matters' Facebook page, some of FOX31 Denver's fans commented that the video "promoted child abductions" and that it is essentially violating the rules of teaching children about "stranger danger".
