AURORA, Colo. -- A mobile home caught fire early Tuesday morning and is likely a total loss.

The stovetop fire broke out about 6 a.m. at the Green Acres Mobile Home Park at 1540 N. Billings St. It’s just northeast of Interstate 225 and Colfax Avenue.

Large flames could be seen shooting out of the roof. Fire crews from the Aurora Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene to battle the blaze.

Firefighters knocked down the fire at about 6:40 a.m. The man who lives in the home was away because he works nights.

A woman who lives next door to the mobile home uses oxygen and was alerted by a neighbor's phone call to get out of her home and away from the flames.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
