Lakewood police asking for help to locate 12-year-old boy

LAKEWOOD , Colo — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a 12-year-old boy who left home Monday morning.

Police said Brandon Alexander Harris has run away from home in the past, but they’re worried about his welfare because he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and is on medications he will soon need.

Brandon, who left his home about 9:30 a.m. Monday,  is 5-foot-2 and weights 100 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black GI Joe T-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111.
