19th century barn catches fire in southwest Denver

DENVER — A 19th century barn caught fire in southwest Denver on Tuesday afternoon, the Denver Fire Department said.

The fire was at 3425 S. Knox Court, and the barn, which was built in the 1890s, was part of the old Shirley Farm Dairy and Mullen Family Dairy.

The fire was reported about 4 p.m. and sever crews were called out to battle it.

Firefighters did a search and found no one inside. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
