DENVER — A Broncos fan rally was held on Orange Friday in Denver, with hundreds of fans coming out to show their support.
“Everybody’s stoked,” one fan said. “Look at this place!”
Lots of orange and blue filled Larimer Square from noon to 1:30. It was a wild celebration ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will go head to head Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
The rally included Broncos fans, team alumni, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Miles the Mascot, Thunder, The Stampede and more.
“[It’s fun] just to be a part of a city that’s unified for the Broncos,” Larece Younger said. “I mean we’ve had a rough time and I’m happy Peyton’s back and 100 percent. And we’re ready to go and I think we’re going to crush the patriots. It’s not going to be an easy game, but it’s going to be a fun game, definitely.”
With home field advantage against New England, fans said this is the time to rally behind Peyton Manning, as it could be his last game in Denver.
“I think that we need to show him support and show him what broncos fans are about, because he deserves it and he deserves to go out a Super Bowl champ,” fan Christy Fidera said. “I think he’s going to be dead on all day and I think Tom Brady’s going to cry.”
Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
