Two injured in three-vehicle crash in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Jefferson County on Monday afternoon, the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash involved a 1993 Nissan SUV, a 2003 Suzuki SUV and a 2014 Buick SUV and happened about 4:30 p.m. at West Ken Caryl Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard.

Two of the drivers were taken to a hospita, including one with serious but nonlife-threatening injuries. The third driver was not injured.

The crash closed most lanes of north Wadsworth Boulevard. The scene was cleared just after 5:45 p.m.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash, CSP said. The cause remains under investigation.
