DENVER -- Broncos fans were united in orange Sunday for the team’s playoff game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, but there was one special fan in the stands who was giving everything she's got to cheer on Peyton Manning.

Cindy Harris was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and after undergoing chemotherapy, her doctor told her the cancer spread, giving her one month to live.

That's when she reached out to FOX31 Denver, saying all she wanted was to meet Peyton Manning before she died.

After her story of battling cancer went viral, her favorite quarterback picked up the phone.

Last week, Manning gave her a call, saying she's in his thoughts and prayers.

Harris got the chance to attend the Broncos' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and showed Manning -- and all the Broncos -- how much the team means to her.

“I love the Broncos and Peyton and just, this is just exciting,” Harris said.
