LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Powerball jackpot is now worth $1.4 billion after it climbed Monday morning.

A viral post is going around on Facebook from Livesosa with a math explanation on how winning the Powerball jackpot could solve poverty in the United States.

But before you share it, be aware, the math doesn’t work out.

1,300,000,000 / 300,000,000 actually equals $4.33.  Not quite enough for a $5 footlong sub at Subway.

Livesosa is being made aware of the math error in the comments of the original post.

Liveosa later took a shot at itself with a hilarious Facebook post.
