Masked intruders shoot man multiple times in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Two masked men entered a home and shot a man several times early Thursday morning, the Adams County Sheriff's Office said.

The incident happened in the 1200 block of East 85th Place about midnight.

Officials said the 32-year-old victim was shot at least three times and was taken to a local hospital. He was listed in stable condition Thursday morning.

A woman was inside the home and witnessed the shooting. She is talking with detectives.

Law enforcement set up a perimeter in the area but could not find the suspects.

The sheriff's office said the suspects are black men in their 20s who wore bandannas across their faces.
